Trusted Friend

If you have been asked to be a ‘Trusted Friend’ then this section is for you

Trusted FriendArrangeMyWorld is a Life Management System that securely stores important information about an individual and or family. The system assists an individual to gather and record key information under various headings. It contains secure password reminders, copies of important documents as well as day to day information, all stored in an easy to use and convenient manner.

One of the main benefits of ArrangeMyWorld is that the system owner can allow nominated trusted friends to have access to their information when they need it most, typically in the event of sudden death or sickness.

If you are considering or have agreed to act as a Trusted Friend for an ArrangeMyWorld Life Management System please ask the system owner for a demonstration or visit the tour section on our web-site.

As a Trusted Friend you have:

• Nothing to remember
• No legal responsibility
• No training or system learning

You are simply being asked to be a good and trusted friend to the person who has approached you so that in the event of their sudden death or serious illness you can assist those nearest and dearest to them.

You will be given a document containing clear instructions explaining how to access and print information from the system in the event of a crisis.

Once you can turn on a computer and point a mouse you have all the skills needed, there is absolutely no training or system learning required!

Access to the system is very straightforward. Once you log on the system it will guide you through the display and print process.
Note – You can only log on to the system on the ArrangeMyWorld owner’s computer. You cannot delete, change or damage the system information, you can only read and/or print.

If you agree to be a Trusted Friend you will be given a sealed envelope with your name on the outside. The envelope contains System Access Instructions which are to be used in event of emergency.

You should file the envelope in a secure place where you can retrieve it easily in the event that it is needed. A fresh envelope can be prepared easily if you ever lose the one you have been given.

Some Trusted Friends question why their name is displayed on the envelope rather than the system owner. This is for security reasons – if the envelope were to become misplaced the information contained in it is completely useless to anyone who may find it.
